Study and Obey
2 Timothy 2:15
Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
We want to make our friends about us happy with the way we live and treat them. But most of all we want to make our God happy with us by talking to Him and studying and obeying His Words He has sent to us on
how to prepare for eternal life. No matter how people feel about our life style we want it to be in harmony with God’s word.
It wouldn’t make much sense to study if we did not put it into our life and do what it says. So we want to study and obey and then
share it with others.
A pond that is stagnant soon becomes smelly and dirty but if the water is moving then it is
more likely to be clear and fresh. So Jesus is the Water of Life and we want to share Him with others so we can be full and fresh
with living words of life from the heavenly Sanctuary where Jesus is now.
The whole Bible magnifies the Law Of God. From Genesis to Revelation it talks about
how to get rid of sin in our life so we can be like Jesus.
Genesis 4:7
If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door.
2 Kings 22:13
Go ye, inquire of the LORD for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that is found: for great is the wrath of the LORD that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not hearkened unto
the words of this book, to do according unto all that which is written concerning us.
Ecclesiastes 11:1
Cast thy bread upon the waters:
for thou shalt find it
after many days.
